Dr. Brandon Goodpaster is a dedicated chiropractor who was born and raised in Morehead, KY. Growing up, he was very active in sports, playing both basketball and baseball. He attended Morehead State University where he not only excelled in his studies to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science, but also met his wife. Together, they have one daughter who keeps them on their toes.
Dr. Goodpaster attended Logan University for graduate school where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Goodpaster served the Bowling Green, KY community for 5 years before deciding to move back to eastern Kentucky. With a passion for helping others achieve their optimal health, Dr. Goodpaster is committed to provide the Somerset community with top-notch chiropractic care.
In his free time, Dr. Goodpaster enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors. He believes in living a healthy and active lifestyle, which he strives to promote to his patients as well.

Choose this center if you are having pain issues. After traveling for a week, my sciatica was literally screaming. Additionally I jumped right in to yard work and, yep, it got worse. I couldn't take a step that wasn't painful l, numbing and tingling. After a steroid shot that did absolutely nothing, I found Dr.Brandon on line and was impressed with the reviews. A quick form completion by text to schedule an appointment. Lori, the administrator, contacted me and I got an appointment for just a couple hours out. I was impressed.
Initial visit the Doc took xrays and we discussed treatment plans. It was agreed I would start with 12 visits and see where we are.
I've noticed we had 6 visits. I feel the adjustments from the Doctor at each visit, the decompression table and the rolling massage are gently correcting the spinal issue. Three weeks ago I had to stop any walk over 20 feet because my body was crying in pain. Today, i am still experiencing pain and my hip and leg get very tired. The difference is that now I can actually walk through the stores to shop, use the leaf blower, even carry things up to about 20 lbs.
I plan to continue with maintenance after my 12 visit program.
The rates are affordable and the Doctor communicates this up front.
Dr. Brandon and Lori are personable, they remember you every time you come in. They both make you feel comfortable during your visit.
Somerset is very lucky to have this office because they could certainly work anywhere they chose.
It takes a few visits to feel the benefits, and it just is better from there.

I got in a car accident back in 2019, got 2 bulging disks from it. Ever since then my back seems to have started hurting more. I didnt realize how compressed my spine was from this till I saw him. Now I see him twice a week right now and my back has never felt better. I feel such a relief in my back and it isnt in as much pain anymore. The staff is great and caring. I would highly recommend him. Especially after I was skeptical of ever going to a chiropractor.

I decided to give proactive spine a look. He took an x-ray and explain what was going on and what I needed. My insurance doesn't cover the cost, and when he told me the price, i didn't hesitate in paying it. And I am glad I did. After the 5 session I was able to sleep and do things I wasn't able to before. I am recommending them to everyone I know. I wish I could give them 100 stars.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is very kind and the place is very welcoming. I love the equipment used especially the bed with the roller for your back. DR. Good pastor is always kind and welcoming to our children and when my son wants his back popped he does his back too. I recommend this place over any other chiropractor in somerset.
